B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from ETH Zurich

I grew up in Lucerne in the middle of Switzerland. For my studying I moved to Zurich. In 2013 I finished my Bachelor in Material Science at the ETH Zurich, Switzerland. I wrote my Bachelor thesis about the influence of heat treatment on absorbable MgZnCa-alloys and I did a 6 months internship at the Biotronik AG, Buelach. Since fall 2013 I am enrolled in the Material Science Master program at ETH Zurich where I worked on Al and AlLi thin films and PLD of complex oxide as BiFeO3 or Y3Fe5O12. In my free time I love to do all kind of sports especially dancing.

My work in the Dunand group includes directionally-solidified freeze-casting of metal foams.
