I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. I did my bachelorís in aerospace engineering (2012) from King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals, KFUPM. After that, I decided to pursue my interest in materials and obtained my masters in Materials Science and Engineering from the same school (2015). Since then and before joining Northwestern, I worked as a lecturer in the mechanical engineering department at KFUPM, teaching the introductory material science course.

My research during masters was centered on developing hard materials for wear resistance applications with a focus on reducing the manufacturing costs. Currently, Iím interested on studying the impact of creep on the performance of thermoelectric properties.
