Rafael Ferreras

The purpose of my current research is to investigate the effect of Powder Metallurgy technology develop in Co based superalloys. The recent discovery of the stable ternary intermetallic compound with an L12 precipitates structures, provides a possible potential Cobalt base two phase gamma-gamma prime microstructures for superalloys performance at higher temperature. This technology can aid to develop new routes with advances cooling concepts allowing innovations designs in the future. I am co-advised by Dr. Monica Campos
